Al Clark will tell you today that farming is all he ever wanted to do. After graduating from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton Georgia, he went home and started farming just like his dad. Like all farmers Al and his father had good years and bad but with conventional farming providing ever increasing financial and marketing risks Al decided that perhaps traditional farming was not the only way to go.
The Clark family farm has undergone many innovative changes from pick-your own strawberries to providing children from local and surrounding area school districts an opportunity to learn about farming. Several years ago, family health concerns prompted Al to start transitioning some of his conventional row-crop land to organic They can now provide you with the sweetest vine ripened medley grape tomatoes and golden cherry tomatoes along with Chinese eggplant and Japanese cucumbers.
With his sons John and Rene they each put in long hours to bring you the highest quality produce that Clark & Sons Organics can provide.
