L. Chad Heard Sr. Farmer from Newton, GA located in Baker County, Southwest Georgia.

Chad has been driving tractors and planting crops since he was 10 years old.For 35 + years he has been farming conventionally and raising poultry.  In his youth, Chad was fortunate to have been taught non-chemical additive farming techniques by his father.  Noticing the health of the American people in decline, about 4 years ago Chad decided to convert 200+ acres to organic food production.  He believes people will be healthier by eating wholesome chemical free foods.  Through Farmer’s Organic Plant Food Company his farm became certified organic Nov 18, 2008. Chad considers it to be a privilege to become an Organic Grower knowing that he is helping the environment and the health of many Americans.
