Antioch Farms

Antioch Farms is situated in South East Georgia, not far from historic Savannah. Ralph Cavender the owner of Antioch Farms is a 4th generation farmer and his family has farmed in the South East for well over hundred years. Antioch Farms is soon to begin its twentieth year of conventional farm operation. It has now been six years since Ralph began to convert some of his farm to certified organic practices. This year he has doubled his certified Organic acreage from last year and expects 20% of his farms production will be from his certified fields. Ralph began his conversion to Organic cultivation growing organic Vidalia Onions, a famous specialty from this region of Georgia. This year he will also produce a Red Onion and hopes in the near future to add new items to the farms offerings.
